Hidden bar in a set12/24/2023 The day before your reservation you'd get a text telling you where to be at a specific time, I was told to look for "the man reading the yellow book on the steps of the Asian Art Museum. It was an interactive play set in a speakeasy just after WW1 with 4-5 concurrent plot lines. It's too bad you were around for the Speakeasy play. Local Edition (cocktail bar in a basement). All the one's I mentioned you can walk in (with the exception of Bourbon which usually requires a reservation), but if you want the ones that require special access, there's The Gotham Club, Musto Bar and Marianne'sĮDIT: adding others that people are mentioning in the comments below and striking through SRO since Oddjob is closed The truth with a lot of them is there's less Instagammable entrances compared to other speakeasy's you sort of just navigate to them instead of trying to like pull lever or go through like a washing machine. The most obvious one is Bourbon & Branch (and the secret bar inside that, Wilson & Wilson) other ones I like are Holy Mountain (back and up the stairs to Hawker Faire), SRO (at Oddjob), HogsHead Reserve (in Barrel Room), Remedie (down the stairs of Devil's Acre).
